About the art show

It was sadness over the devastation caused and loss of certain species and others about to go instinct unless certain measures are taken on a war footing that inspired me to make a series of art works. More and more people need awareness about this. I’m making an effort to do what I can from my side. I have prepared this art show to spread awareness about this urgent issue for which I along with Reves Art Gallery will be inviting the heads of an Organization -Wildlife Conservation Society of Karnataka and many other dignitaries. The former are working relentlessly on protecting species that are at the risk of going extinct. They are very pleased to know about this show.

My show which opens on 6th August is also a tribute to the magnificence of this beautiful earth and it’s varied awe inspiring inhabitants. We have to put in Herculean efforts in order to preserve whatever we have left so that future generations can also enjoy the pleasures we have taken for granted.Me and the Gallery together will be contributing 10% of the proceed to the organization It dawned on me like a strong reminder when I saw in various media how during the lock down rare animals were coming out of their forced habitat ( forced, for want of safe space, safe from the human species) and roaming around in the cities finding them to be their’s again, as if to reclaim their own haven.
